Robert and Mr. Holloway were watching her closely. Megan quickly explained the call. “She’s in a nursing home. They want me to come.” Robert immediately grabbed his keys, determination flashing in his eyes.
“We’re not letting you go alone,” he said firmly. Mr. Holloway nodded too. Megan didn’t argue. Right now, she was grateful for the backup.
