The wind picked up, rustling through the crowd, adding to the unease. A child clung to his mother’s arm, wide-eyed. “Are they gonna be okay?” he asked. His mother hesitated before nodding.
On the pier, an old fisherman shook his head. “That ship’s been gone for decades,” he muttered. “Ain’t no telling what’s inside.”
