Late that afternoon, Coco seemed barely able to stand. Her large paws trembled as she took a few steps. Alison’s chest tightened. “She’s not getting better,” a keeper whispered.
Alison refused to give up, although she had no idea what to do next. All she could do was keep watching Coco and praying that her observation would provide some miracle answer.
