The splash was clearly visible. It wasfar enough from shore to be unsettling, yet large enough to feel deliberate. Bob squinted at the screen. “You saw that too, right?” Megan nodded.
They both turned toward the water, but the surface looked calm again. Still, their nerves buzzed. Whatever it was out there seemed to be watching them.
