Unbeknownst to them, a group of fishermen sitting nearby had overheard their conversation. Words about a long, black creature drifted across the room and caught their attention.
The men exchanged tense glances. Then one of them, tall and sunburned, stood up and walked toward Megan and Bob’s table, with the others close behind.
