The zookeepers were happy that Julia agreed to their request. So, after going over the plan, they moved around the enclosure to the entrance gate of the hippo.
The expert zookeepers would take the lead since they knew from experience how these animals would behave. Julia and David would trail close behind while Julia tried to make contact with the little hippo, who was still floating around in the pond.
