After he had all he needed, Eli slipped out the back door, moving quietly through the yard. He carefully climbed over the fence, landing in cool dirt right beside the concrete bunker.
It was surreal to see the large concrete structure up close. Seeing from their bedroom window was one thing, but this was something else.
