Luke recognized it immediately. Only Cornet had that deep, grumbling call. So without hesitation, he turned the tractor and hurried across the field, hoping Cornet had stayed out of trouble.
As Luke got closer, he saw Cornet pacing around a tight cluster of trees. The bull was moving in odd figure-eight patterns, looking anxious for some reason.
