“I think I can find her,” Paul said aloud, breaking into Carter and Mr. Samson’s conversation. They both turned to him, surprised.
Paul hurried across the room to the little desk by his kitchen, yanking open a drawer. Paperclips, old receipts, junk mail. He shoved it all aside, digging for the battered address book he knew was buried inside.
