A faint, drawn-out call echoed from somewhere inside the structure, carrying across the curved walls. “Heeeeeey, Heelllooooo.” Julia’s eyes shot open, startled by the sound.
She gasped. “Oh my god. Somebody is calling out. What is this? Where does it come from?” she whispered urgently, searching for the source.
